Evaluates the professional performance of the borrowers from the ship management perspective; reviews the vessels’ inspection reports, insurance arrangements, and period charter parties; negotiates through marine insurance brokers the terms and conditions of the vessels’ mortgagees’ interest insurance; reviews the details of any serious incidents of major financial importance and attends to the necessary follow-up.
